Tim Tebow Heisman

The end of the College Football season means a lot of things, but one of those is that it’s time to award the Heisman. The Heisman Trophy is the award for the Most Outstanding Player in College Football.

How does Heisman Voting work?

The Heisman Trophy is voted on by 870 media representatives distributed evenly across the country. You can find the list of these representatives on the Heisman website. Every former Heisman winner has a vote as well. Lastly, the Heisman organization created a fan vote in 1999.

Does the Heisman Fan Vote matter?

The results of the Heisman Fan Vote are counted as a single vote for the Heisman. So, while this fan vote technically is counted in the Heisman voting process, it represents an extremely small sliver of the 900+ total available votes. So, spamming your candidate on Twitter likely won’t move the needle – but, hey, it’s fun!
