Despite being historic rivals, Texas and Texas A&M haven’t played in football since November 24, 2011.

Texas and Texas A&M haven’t actually played each other since November 24th, 2011, despite multiple attempts to revive the series and a few close calls with bowl games. That will all change when Texas (and Oklahoma) formally join the SEC – in fact, Texas A&M and Texas will be dedicated rivals and play each other more often than other schools.

But, that SEC transition is not happening until next year – so which rival gets more wins in 2024? Texas has a lot of hype (as always) and a loaded QB room including Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning as well as head coach Steve Sarkisian. Texas A&M is in more of a bounce back mode, but they have some strong recruiting and Jimbo Fisher will always keep them competitive (to a debatable degree).
