As introduced in our last post, we’ve created a College Football Computer Rankings based off the impact of various factors like recruiting, returning production, and previous performance and how those correlate with success the following year. We’ve utilized this Computer Poll to provide preseason rankings for each CFB Conference and are releasing them daily on our Twitter, Instagram and here.
First up, we have Conference USA. CUSA was one of the conferences most impacted by conference realignment, with Charlotte, FAU, North Texas, Rice, UAB and UTSA departing for the American Conference, after they got raided by the new Big 12. Conference USA replaced these members with formerly Independent Liberty and New Mexico State, as well as bringing up Sam Houston State and Jacksonville State (with Kennesaw State to come as well in 2024).
